There is air, spark and fuel yet motor will not fire.
fuel is by injection firm stream of fuel (maybe even too much fuel) the motor cranks but does not hit. Supposedly fuses are fine |

Re: 88 Chevy S10 Blazer 2.8 wont start
verify plugs are firing by removing one and test crank with plug connected and the end of the plug grounded, also check for compression. Sometimes plugs can get so wet they will bot fire check to see if they are wet. if so clean with a wire brush, test, and then try to start again.

Re: 88 Chevy S10 Blazer 2.8 wont start
check plugs for wetness, if so clean with a wire brush and install plug wire ground the end of the plug and crank to check for spark, you will also hear if you have enough compression. then reinstall plugs and try again.
how long since it has been running, if longer than 6 mo the fuel is no good. |
