98 Silverado Heater Problem

The Defrost Mixing Door Has Unhooked And Fallen Down And I Would Like To Know What To Remove To Get At It?thanx Whitetinydog

Hi whitetinydog,

Every time I have to work inside a vehicle, I never know where to prize in order to snap off the dash or underdash assemblies. Always afraid I will break a plastic tab and it won't snap back later. To solve those problems, I refer to the maintenance books. In your case, it would probably be explained under "replacing the heater core" section.

They do a good job of not showing any screws or bolts around the dash area.
