Make sure you got the wires hooked up in the right order. Make sure all your plugs are torqued properly. Just double check everything. My gues is some wires are crossed giving that feeling that the trans is slipping... but in actuality its just misfiring.

Re: I changed the plugs in my 01 Jeep Cherokee and Know I got issues

I assume the black thing covering the plugs is the coil pack assembly on the straight six engine .If so it's held down by several bolts inline with the plugs. The plug boots stick straight down from this and it's very easy to miss a plug with one of the boots.Inspect and reinstall carefully and it will probally solve your problem. Also if your carefull you shouldn't need to disconnect the heater hoses only move them.

Re: I changed the plugs in my 01 Jeep Cherokee and Know I got issues

u need to figureeeee out if its your trans or a miss cause the two are completly unrelated!!!! if its a make sure its all installed correctly including a good connection from the coil pack to the plug! if that dont fix it check condition of plugs and detirmine which plug is missing! also while there out again make sure there gapped correctly and the right plugss!
if its a transsss u may ahve cinked a line while u were crawling under the hood or dissconected wires leading to your trans
