2005 Corolla power lock won't "lock" doors
The power locks work to unlock but not to lock the doors both with the key and the front power lock switches.
The doors no longer automatically lock when taken out of Park. With the power lock switches removed from the door, the key based power unlock still works. I suspect there is a power lock module (not just the switches, since the key still power unlocks without the switches connected) but cannot find one. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: 2005 Corolla power lock won't "lock" doors
What do you mean the "key based" power lock works? Are you referring to your keyless entry fob or when you put the key in the door and turn it?
Could be just a bad switch or a broken wire. A little more info on that and I can help you narrow it down. |
