MY brothers 02 6 cylinder F150 did this same block i belive just 2 less cylinders punched out either way they both use coil on plug! Let me start with the basic and dumb question but did u replace the spark plug?
Did u use a ford motorcraft coil? or aftermarket?

Check compression vacuum leaks etc.Does the plug come out wet etc.Sounds silly bought I gotta ask,are you working on the right cylinder.(3rd back on drivers side).
I've seen them confused many a time.
