2001 Chrysler Town and Country
I accidentally poured a small amount about 1-2 os or 2-3 tablespoons of brake fluid in the power steering resouvour. Did I need to have it flushed or look at by a mechanic?

Re: 2001 Chrysler Town and Country
I don't believe that the ratio of power steering fluid/brake fluid is going to be significant in your case. If you haven't driven the car I would recommend draining the reservoir just to be on the safe side, if you have driven it I would take a wait see approach.
Both fluids are "hydraulic" in nature but the brake fluid is formulated to operate at high temperatures due to friction of the braking system....especially disc brakes. I don't think you have caused any harm but I would try not to make the same mistake again. SABL |
