Have you checked earthing .. used to be a problem in all my pre-"Noahs Ark" cars .. if the earthing around the car isn't good that could cause you problems

and what exactly does not turn on ??

Car radio, demister, Engine ?

What does happen ?

Engine turns over, a loud click then nothing ?? please fill in the gaps that one might notice if one was sitting outside the car as you note that nothing turns on!

edit .. you said Radiator .. is it the heating ??

air in pipes is a good reason for the heating to malfunction ..

make sure that the tap is switched on when you fill up the water system .. do it very slowly so that no air locks can occur .. sometimes having the car on an upward incline helps with the radiator higher than the rest of the car .. make sure that the taps are fully open as you slowly fill up ..

2 things you need to check first are spark and fuel.

pull a plug wire put a plug in it and lay it on the engine (something metal) have someone turn the car over and look for blue spark. if you have spark next make sure you are getting fuel. to check for fuel you really need a pressure gauge hooked to the car. make sure you can hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn the key to the on position.

after you check for these 2 things get back to us and let us know what you have found out.

Check the fuses/fusible links on the positive battery cable - one of them is for the starter and gives these same symptoms when it blows.
