1999 Chevy Malibu V6 3.1

I'm attempting to replace the CKP sensor on said vehicle, the problem is...I can't find it. Can anyone help me?

I don't know what a CKP sensor is but Autozone.com has online how-tos for installing stuff they sell based on Chiltons manuals. So go there, add your vehicle, then go to emissions or whatever category has that sensor. The how-to should be listed after you select the part.

OK, CKP is crankshaft position sensor. The link below shows 2 for the 3.1 Malibu, one 7x and one 24x that each serve different functions (and locations!) in the ignition and fuel injector control.
