Lexus LS400 Tube/Valve hole.

I had to drive through a flood recently....and nobody can really help me with this situation. I don't even know what tube/valve/?? this is. But I know it's been damaged.

A twig was stuck inside it and I pulled it out and of course, there's a hole. Here are the pictures of where the twig was. I don't know if it's safe to drive or not, or etc.

The Twig.

The Tube Thing. (Left Front Wheel)

The Other Side's Tube thing. (Right Front Wheel)

I really don't know what it is at all. If anyone can help, it'll be great!

Rack and pinion boot. Anything leaking out of it?

Re: Lexus LS400 Tube/Valve hole.

Nothing has leaked out of it that I've witnessed yet.

I recently drove it, and I can somewhat hear something but it's faint. I'm not sure if I should get it fixed or not, or if it's even worth fixing. Should I try to squeeze it back into what it's supposed to look like or something?

Thank you for your response also.

Re: Lexus LS400 Tube/Valve hole.

I'd try turning it all the way to the left and trying to get those convolutions to straighten back out.

Re: Lexus LS400 Tube/Valve hole.

I recently just got to messing around with it but it just won't straighten back out. Is there anything that I should do other than that? I really don't want to get it replaced, mainly because I believe it'll be expensive to.

Is there anything that would happen to it if i just kept driving it?

Re: Lexus LS400 Tube/Valve hole.

if there is a hole in it try to close it up with duck tape or something similar then you should be alright. dont want trash dirt or water getting in there makeing a mess of things.

you know the old saying "if you cant duck it ____ it" ill let yall use your imaginations if ya aint heard that one.

Bud.
