1999 Honda CR-V radio question

My mother had to get a new battery and every since then her raido hasn't worked. We heard you had to take it to a Honda shop to get it fixed, but I was wondering if there is any other way besides paying 120.00 for the Honda shop to do it?

Sorry It's a CRV not a RSV

Perhaps a fuse blew when the battery was changed. I would check that before anything else.
