Re: hyundai wont start

i have never heard of an oxygen sensor causeing no spark. sounds like you have a wire grounding through the O2 sensor causeing the fuse to blow. try switching the sensor with the one on the other exhaust pipe to see if the sensor itsself is causeing the problem. my guess is its in the wiring to the sensor.

did you reset the security system after you installed the new engine? sometimes when you unhook the battery for a period of time or certain wires get unhooked the security system will need to be reset.

hope this helps
Bud.

Re: hyundai wont start

also check your cam and crank sensors for proper voltage these are what tells the car when to fire. if you still have your old engine put them into the new engine to rule these out.

Bud, my BAD I went out and got under the car to change that o2 sensor and it was not it at all that I unplugged it was the "crank sensor" that was next to it any way I replaced it and it fired right up!!!! It had bare wire causing the short.
So thanks for your help Bud, I am very thankful.
