88 nissan maxima
having trouble starting.
when it dose mess up the starter will do nothing at all not even a click. then i can cross the starter over with a screwdriver and presto it works and will then work with the key every time. at first i thought it had a bad connection but all seem fine and like i said worked like new for a while. well it happened again and again i crossed it over and it is working fine again with the key. i just know it isnt going to help it for good so i was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas on what it might be. it is a 5 speed but i jumped across the safety switch to eliminate that. im confused and hate wiring with a passion. Bud. |

Re: 88 nissan maxima
first thing that pops in my head is something is up with the ignition solenoid, but I can't say if it has one or not... I would be able to check later on today, but that is what I would be looking at closely
