Weber carb questions
Hi
I have a Weber DCOE carb that I would like to use on a motorcycle. The problem is that it's a 38mm, and those have been out of production for decades. I have a basic familiarity with Webers, and I'm sure that it would work for this particular application. The trouble is, I can't locate any choke tubes (venturis) for it through the usual channels. Does anyone have any info on a good place to get obsolete Weber parts, or someone I'd be able to talk to who could give me some info. I've been thinking that machining a set of choke tubes from a 40mm might work, but I'd like to find some info on that also. Thanks in advance - BK |
