[SOLVED] Power Distribution Center/Relays
Power Distribution Center/Relays
I've recently ordered new oxygen sensors to install, and when I checked out my Power Distribution Center [PDC] I noticed that in slot number (34 Rear O2 sensor) and (35 Front O2 sensor) that there are no relays in those slots. Is this normal? For reference of PDC, if necessary, see this image: http://www.wjjeeps.com/misc/power_dist_ctr_02... 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition 4WD - V8 - 4.7L ***edited*** I should probably also notate that this is not a California vehicle nor has it ever been. So there are only two Oxygen Sensors on this vehicle - 1 upstream and 1 downstream. Thanks Much, JeepWJLimited Last edited by JeepWJLimited; 04-07-2008 at 11:07 AM. |

Re: Power Distribution Center/Relays
Just wanted to post a follow-up to this answer that I found out from a Jeep Technician.
"Since this is not a California vehicle, you should be fine." I'm assuming that the relay pertains to vehicles needing 4 oxygen sensors - perhaps to provide control between the 4 sensors. Since my vehicle isn't in CA these spaces would remain open for a Federal vehicle. Maybe this will help someone in the future. |
