radiator drain nut-clockeise or counterclockwise to...
tighten? I always have the idea of tightening the nut by turning it counterclockwise for an aerostar. (A complete opposite of turning a screw clockwise to tighten) Anyone please confirm. Thanks.

Re: radiator drain nut-clockeise or counterclockwise to...
Some leaks are solved (if it is dripping and if you can't stop it by tightening it), by loosening it a bit and then retightening it.

Re: radiator drain nut-clockeise or counterclockwise to...
Thanks, I'll try it. Today I didn't see any dripping from there. Two days ago, I saw quite a bit of antifreeze on the ground. I checked the engine block and the hoses and didn't see any wet spot. I went underneath the van and saw some antifreeze on the radiator drain plug. I turned it to tighten but I didn't feel any movement of tightening. So maybe the water pump. Eventually, I replaced the radiator cap. So far I haven't seen any more antifreeze on the ground. A mystery indeed!
