91 ford explorer
Recently put a complete gasket set in motor because of leaking intake gasket. Now it will not start. Have fire to plugs and a pulse to injectors but no gas is getting to cylinders. There is 68psi fuel pressure. It will run momentarly with a shot of starting fluid.

Re: 91 ford explorer
Good Morning mwright, this sounds like there is a problem in the area of the injector electrical plugs and their wiring harness.
Check all associated fuses and harness plugs for properness. Check the airbox plug especially. I am guessing, but although you are receiving a pulse at the injectors it may be too short a duration for combustible support. Cheers, qldit. |
