anyone with a 92 taurus or similar?

Hey, I have a question that I have been wondering the answer to for a while. I have a '92 ford taurus that has some wires coming down from behind where the pedals are. It has a gray rectangular connector on the end of it, anyone know what this might be? If its for a starter or keyless entry that would be awesome.
