99 Bravada brake pedal pushes up
my 1999 olds Bravada started making a humming noise and pushing back on the brake pedal when the brakes are depressed. I put on new pads and checked for frozen calipers found none could this be the booster? Please help

Do you have an "ABS" light on and is the pedal pulsating when it pushes back? Either one of these points to something amiss in the antilock system. Get your mechanic or parts store to pull codes on it ASAP...thinking you have ABS and it not working is a bad thing.

I pulled codes myself I have a snapon scanner, and pulled the abs codes the light never came on and no codes present so I cleared out any way last night the abs light blinked 3-4 times then stayed on solid so naturally i thought it set codes .While the abs light was on it did fine then in a while it off and the problem started all over again .Seems as though I can here a motor running is that hydrovac? I just don't understand these brakes it has a Kelsey Hayes box up near the master cylinder the only time I've seen this is on 1-ton or bigger trucks with hydromatic over hydraulic brakes. Puzzled Please help jigginpig |
