What does not turn? The Key or the Engine?

the key will not turn. i called the dealer and they said to bring it in,which is kinda hard when the key won't turn. i tried taking the ignition switch out but no luck, i don't know if there is a trick to it or if it's some kind of anti theft thing or what.

You might have to have it towed.

Try turning the wheel. Jiggle the wheel while trying to turn the key in the ignition.

maybe the wheellock went and locked it self up badly. put the key in twist it a little and start turning the steering wheel from side to side.

you could just get a different ignition .... put it in hook it up and get a new key made

where the ignition is located (between steering column and radio). there were 2 bolts holding it in and i took those out. it is loose but there isn't enough wire to pull it out so i can figure out where there is a release on it to get it the rest of the way out.
