Question Problem with my Mazda MX6

I have a 1990 Mazda MX6, with a problem no one has had any luck tracking down. Here it is. When starting out, only in 1st and 2nd gear, there is a violent jerking. The motor runs great and the clutch is some what new. When I start to move, I pretty much have to ride the clutch through 1st and 2nd to even get going without being tossed around like a rag doll. once im into 3rd gear and higher, the problem seems to clear up. Maybe a censor? Please if any one out there has any ideas. let me know!!

sounds kinda like your clutch is engaging too early...

My brother had a similar problem with his '90 MX6 (Except that his jerked every gear), I can't remember exactly what he said but I'll ask him whenever I get to talk to him again (He's at college atm)

Is the clutch adjusted right? If the clutch is out of adjustment, then a new clutch wouldn't help. I bought my last car for $150, cause they were pissed they just put a new clutch in it, and it felt like they didn't have any clutch, I took it home, adjusted the clutch out, and it runs fine.
