I just bought a 1990 chev corsica LT and the day after i drove it home i went out to start it , it started up and then i put the wipers on for a sec and the rear defoger and i when to turn on the radio and the car died. I went to start it again but there is no power when i turn the key. There is power to the horn, lights, clock on the radio, basic power to any thing that you wouldn't have to turn the key for. bad battery, corroded bat. terminals, bad battery cable, bad ground connection at the engine for starters! Possibly bad diodes in the alternator causing low output and an undercharged battery
There is a place to staRT anyway! |
