Paint wearing
I have a '92 Lexus ES300 and I noticed that the paint on the trunk and the roof is starting to wear away. I think it gets especially worse if I leave it in the sun, or if a lot of dirt accumulates on it.
Between cycles of carwashing, is there anyway to impede or prevent it? |

First, is it the clearcoat peeling off, or is it the actual paint wearing off? If the clearcoat is peeling off, there isn't much you can do, but leaving it out in the sun will make it worse. If it's the paint, after washing a good waxing would help.

is wearing off as in peeling? or just fading? if fading, wash it good, then wax it good, not with that liquid wax at a car wash, but with a good putty wax. if it is peeling, then your pretty much screwed and will need a new paint job
