It is a good guide, though I can see that you have cropped the images, it would have been easier, and looked better, if you did Alt PrintScreen instead of just PrintScreen. That way it just does a screenshot of the current window.

Unfortunately I only had Alan's pics to work with. It would mean going through the whole reinstall to get pics of active windows only. I tried to crop as closely as possible to the edge as I could without showing any background but this is not easy to do. We may redo the pics in the future, but our primary concern is to get as many of Alan's articles published as possible as quickly as possible.

Regards,
John.

Hey John, I have just installed AVG, I haven't done everything the same, I took screen shots of what I did, so you could replace them. Would you like me to upload them so you can change them? It would just make the article look a bit more tidy (that's one of the things which I need when reading articles).

Hi Joe,
Further to my last reply, Dave is unavoidably away for a few days so I'll see if I can find time to put them in. They are a vast improvement. Thanks.
Regards,
John.

Hi Joe,
Can you check that this is the complete list cos there are fewer than in the original?

Hi,
yea, I mentioned before, as I didn't do everything the same, I couldn't get all the screenshots, so that's it I'm afraid.

That's no problem. As long as I know there's nothing else I'll use what's there. Thanks again Joe.
