How to Burn a Bootable Memtest CD using MagicISO

Testing...

Q: Can I edit this OP indefinately ?

Outline:

A) Description
1. Should mention that both Memtest and MagicISO are (freeware?) free to use.

B) Items Needed
1. Blank CD
2. Copy of MagicISO
3. Copy of Memtest.iso
4. CD Burner

C) Creation Process
1. Download & Install Setup_MagicISO.exe (default settings?)
2. Download and Save memtest86+-2.11.iso.zip (I like Save As "C:\DownLoad\Memtest")
3. Need to give directions on unzip utility ? (I like WinRar for it's right-click, command shell "Extract Here" ability.)
4. Insert CD (Any technical details needed here ?)
5. Run MagicISO

D) Using CD
1. Reboot Computer
2. (May need to change boot order in BIOS)
3. Verify Memtest runs (provide screenshots showing what good memory looks like, bad memory ? Or just show what memtest booting looks like ?)
4. Provide some link to "How to use Memtest"

Hi Fren

A) Yes - you can make multiple consecutive posts using copy & paste.
A) Yes comment on freeware

When you feel that you have finished the article, at the top of your last edit/post, it will help to add something like "Article Complete"

Fren Banklin - can you put this into a nicely written article with pictures? Would be a real nice touch to add a bit of depth to a great article.
