Netscape & email

Greetings,

I was able to access my email w/Netscape 7.2 until I ran the latest Microsoft critical update. I don't see any relationship between the two yet it seems strange that I could access the email before the update and then not after.

I can still browse the web, however, I am unable to send or receive email within Netscape. I can access my email using a webmail thread and at my second account without problem.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hello folks,

After more searching I found that Norton Internet Security 2005 Antispyware edition is blocking the receiving and sending of email from within Netscape 7.2

. If I disable Norton then launch Netscape everything works as it should.

This post can be closed, however, without a solution I would prefer it remain open until resolved.
