Novell Client W/ Vista

Has anybody used the new Novell client for Vista and try to log in to a Novell network.
I can get to the internet but can't find the network tree or connect to any Novell servers.
Some have the newer Linux OS and can't see them either.
No problem seeing Microsoft Servers.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Novell Client W/ Vista

Hi,

I am not vary familiar with the Novell client for Vista but I am willing to give it a shot. Can you give me some idea of the errors if any that you are getting? You say that you are able to get to the internet, so I am guessing that you would be able to get to your internal network as well? Also, you talk about the newer Linux OS, what OS are you talking about? Novell created SUSE, so I would guess that you are talking about that one but I am not sure.

Lets start there, so that you can answer those questions. Any other information that you thing would be helpful feel free to post.

Cheers!

Re: Novell Client W/ Vista

Try typeing the IP address of your server in place of the tree. you may also have to add the address for it to get the DA if this does not work.
