Suggestions

Hi friends,
i have few suggestions and ideas about this forum. Name of our forum is TECH SUPPORT FORUM. So it would be very nice if we start supporting some other operating systems which are used on devices other than pc. We should provide support for symbian series 60 and 80 devices. Many of us have questions regarding windows mobile. This is a kind request to our software and hardware masters to look into this matter. Thank you.

But these are a type of OS,aren't they ?
And gadgets do come under technology.And as a technical support forum, we should discuss about them also.

Hi,

Listen I understand what you are saying about other OS's. Here is the thing. We will do our best here to handle your questions as best as we can. Most of the people that post in this section have questions a OS/2, UNIX, *BSD.

Also, to quote the title of this sub forum:

So that is what we are getting at. As I stated above we will do our best to help people with other OS's including one for hand-held devices. You also have to understand that we are all volunteers. Non of the members here get paid a cent.

What you are asking about is help with embedded OSes, and that does belong to the gadgets section. These are not OSes that you can buy and install on your own. That is why they do not have their own section here at TSF. Each embedded OS is tailored to the device installed into. There is some modifying that can be done, but it is also really dependent on the device you are doing it on.
