Pocket PC text

Hi, my friend has a pocket PC, don't know which Windows Version it is, but this is my question:

Anyone know what kind of text files a normal pocket PC can read.
The pocket PC has "Pocket Word" on it, so would it be able to read .doc files or just .txt?

Oh i see, sorry I didn't notice the FAQ before.
I use Office 2007, does it support those formats when I save?

Re: Pocket PC text

It depends on which version of Pocket Office he is using. Can you find out? I think Pocket Word compatibility was added to Windows Mobile 5.0 but not earlier versions.

If your friend's Pocket PC is an older model, you will have to save your Office 2007 files as Office 2003 before opening them in Pocket Word.

This chart shows the features available in the different versions, although it is from 2003 so doesn't mention Office 2007. http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/Pock...ceFeatures.htm
