Win 64 pro as OS for gaming
I'm putting together a gaming machine and wondering how Win 64 would be as an OS since I want 4 gigs of ram and I do not want to use Linux or Vista? Are the drivers out there for most applications as well as games? Ant anticipated problems using it?.........thanks

Re: Win 64 pro as OS for gaming
Everyone I've talked to has told me to avoid the 64-bit WinXP Pro. The problem is apparently a lack of working drivers. My school actually requires the 32-bit version because of the driver issues. The 32-bit version should be ok for now, since a game will only run as 64-bit if it was compiled as 64-bit. As far as I know, most games are still only available as 32-bit (with a few exceptions).
