NOoBs Here !!

Hey Everyone i just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone along with asking a question.. i have been coming here for a lil while now and so far you guys seem to know whats up... My Question is... if i took a copy of my systems info ( my programs that are running, Keys, Things of that nature) could anyone help me find out what is wrong with my laptop.. along with maybe helping me getting it to run better... it always seems like it is running something in the back ground... but i cant seem to find anything.. Im all the time getting wierd files that pop up outta no where.... some i can delete some dont... I run sluggish half the time even when i first turn it on.. Ive run Numours of spyware/virus/worm removers and nothing is ever found... Till i use Etrust and it says its a flash9.oxc or something.... I believe i have a trojon forest growing in here and No matter how much i chop it dont go away... Please say you can help.... Sorry for being long winded figured the "ONE"..... would need all the info and insight he could get to fight these Agent Smiths...

Hi, welcome to TSF

flash9.ocx is a part of your Adobe Flash Player. Try reinstalling it and then run the Etrust scan again.

Post back with your full system specs and all the entries under Startup Items in your startup list. Start > Run > msconfig > Startup tab.

If you think you might be infected, follow the instructions here and then post all the requested logs in a new thread here for the security analysts to look at.

LMAO... Thanks for the help.. I thought the flash9 was soppost to be there... but im a computer "DEE DEE DEE" lmao... i will deff post the specs to see what you guys think... im sure its from me downloading things like crazy and i forget about them... started thinking today maybe i should hang up the mouse lmao..
