Password problems
Hi
I've set up .htaccess and .htpassword in a folder I wish to protect on my Apache server which is running Red Hat 7.3 but it won't log me in. I have used a password generating script on the paypal site and pasted that into .htpassword, I've also tried different paths to this file but when I look in the error log I get [error] [client xx.xx.xxx.xx] File does not exist: /home/champ/public_html/401.shtml I am using Cpanel to edit the files, don't think that is the problem though. I would be very greatful for any help as I am totally stuck. Thanks Malcolm |
