This may not be the right topic for this question, so redirect me, if you want.
I searched "Sun" but the results turned up zero. I am trying to figure out which quickbooks version to update to. I am working with someone using Quickbooks 2006, but my version is quite old ( Quickbooks Pro 99) I would prefer not to go with Microsoft system upgrade. Quickbooks 2006 is incompatable with the latest version of the Microsoft operating system and I really don't want to invest in XP. Still using WIN98se. I am interested in Sun Solaris Operating System but it seems hard to find information about Sun and compatibility with the various versions of Quickbooks. At the same time I need to learn more about the backward compatibility with Quickbooks and Quickbooks. Can anyone direct me to an article, information, or discussion about these issues? |

I have moved this to the Other Operating Systems Forum where they are familiar with Sun, you should get good support here

have you looked into quick books online. This would make it OS independent, I do believe it requires active X tho. http://oe.quickbooks.com/rr/index.cfm
