yeah, they used to be big where I work... but then Microsoft ate 'em.....

Have not seen Novell on a computer in some time now.:(

(Cert.: Waste of time alert)
Wanted to be a little more clear on above statement before I'm hung, Cert. was a waste of time for me, not that the cert is a waste of time for everyone. :)

My System

I have a customer that does only Novell consulting. Aparently there are still plenty of companies out there that still use it. And with Novell switching everything to Linux, they're repositioning themselves as a Linux company as well as their Netware product being a Linux product.

Good old Novell Netware -- support twice the clients on half the hardware when compared to Microsoft.

It's awesome if you ask me. eDirectory blows Active Directory out of the water. Lets not get me started on ZenWorks. I can't imagine living without it.

yeah i liked novell idea of going linux. i still wanna get my cert for it tho. i was gonna be a CNA but i failed the Test like twice. good thingk i got it cheap tho.

like 50 per test at tech school.

p.s. actually their the reason i got linux. they sent me the Linux resource kit demo. with the full versions of Suse 9.0(i think) and 8.somthing.
