[SOLVED] Firefox

I am running firefox and using google as my home page the problem is when i set my preferences in the google setting and click save preferences it works until i log off my windows account.When i log in again the settings are back to default settings is this anything to do with any settings in firefox.

Go to Tools > Options > Privacy tab and put a checkmark in the 'Clear history when Firefox closes' box, then click the Settings button and remove the checkmark from the Cookies box. This will prevent your stored cookies from being deleted every time you close down and restart Firefox.

Tried all those settings and it still wont save my preferences.Every time i close firefox and restart it they are wiped out.

Open the google page, then go to Tools > Page Info and click the Permissions tab. Change the Set Cookies option to Allow.
