help please ... cant download anything in any browser

hi everyone, thanks for checking my thread out .. i have a problem that only started recently, and its very annoying to me ... downloads dont start at all from any site like rapidshare.com , megaupload.com, uploaded.to , hotfile.com ... any web hosting service like that ... not in any browser .. i tried firefox, google chrome and internet explorer .. still nothing ... tried disabling kaspersky (i have kaspersky internet security 2010) ... nothing ... tried uninstalling spybot S&D and still nothing ...

in firefox , it shows "waiting for ***** .com" (whatever it is) .. and never starts .. whats more weird is in sites like RS , when i try refreshing to start the download again, it says i have to wait for 15 minutes .. just like if i started the download and finished it or if its already in progress ... i just cant see it start , nor press "save file" ...

when i try download.com and normal sites like this ... it takes a while but eventually shows me the window to "save file"...

even now i tried with Jdownloader and sill nothing ... doesnt download

i am so frustrated from this and wanna solve it please ...

the screen just stays at this:

all i changed since it started not working was that i installed spybot and did a full scan ... then a full scan with kaspersky after installing 2010 and updating it .. and RS does not show me that my IP already downloaded or something ... it starts the download ... i just dont get the box with save file or cancel ...

i just found out something that might be helpful in determining the problem ... when i press download , yes the browser keeps showing waiting on the bar down there.. but if i keep the page open for some time enough for the download to finish ... i just find it on my desktop ... its better than nothing actually .. but i wanna know what is wrong .. and with all browsers ?????? ... even JDownloader ?! ... somebody please help ??

i'm having the same problem, i even use opera 10, also tried firefox, chrome and iexplorer but same thing happens always: i cant see the download until it's done. also i'm using kaspersky 10.

hmmm ahmad we can start determining the commons of our 2 systems, maybe we can find it, for one, you're using Kaspersky 2010 same as me ... maybe its kaspersky ?! hmmm

i see from your OS that you're using vista, the pc i am having trouble with is on XP SP3

anyone else having this problem ?!

the problem turned out to be that you have to limit the fragment buffering time in KIS. Go to: Setting-->web anti virus-->settings... -->check the box and set the time to 1s.

May be the above link could have answered. If not can you restart your machine, clear cookies and try back.
