Hi all,
I came across this today so thought I would post it. I have been having issues in getting my default search engine to be set differently from Yahoo. After changing many settings Yahoo was still the default search for the URL bar and my new tab page. The issue is with AVG Free Toolbar. Use this link to change the following settings mentioned below: http://www.avg.com/special-toolbar-h...tlbrf.tpl-mcr1 Set and keep Yahoo! as search provider for Address Bar = UN TICK IT ! Set and keep Yahoo! as browser search provider = UN TICK IT ! Show Yahoo! search box on new tab pages in the browser = UN TICK IT ! Hope this helps you all :) Pete
