Title Bar & Tabbed Browsing Problem with Google Chrome

I am hoping somebody can help me because it looks like I am the only person with this problem. My Title Bar is covering the tabbed browsing. When I maximize my screen I can see the tab behind the title bar but cannot click it. If I do not maximize the screen I can see a little bit of the plus sign to open up a bew tab for browsing. Everything that I see about this program being downloaded is that the max/min button as well as the close button should be above the tabbed browsing...not covering it up. If somebody knows the answer please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Hi, welcome to TSF

Please post a screenshot.

Are you using a Windows theme other than default?

Do you have extra large text or title bar selected in Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Advanced?

I checked the display settings and both the active title bar and inactive title bar are set as low as possible. I just cant figure it out...Here are a couple images that I hope will help. I have the theme set as windows xp

I've never seen that problem before with any program. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome?

do you know if there is any way to get rid of the somewhat see thru title bar?

Uninstall Chrome, then install the latest Java and reinstall Chrome again.

i switched from chrome to firefox....the titel bar is still see through but at least with firefox i can use the tabbed browsing. I just cant figure it out

after days of searching for answers i have finally figured it out. I have a program installed called True Transparency. When I close that program out the chrome screen is usable. I am a very happy man now!! lol

When I asked about Windows themes, I should have also asked about other programs that change the interface. Thanks for posting your solution.
