Google Chrome Installation Issues
I just did a reformat+clean install of Vista Home Premium 64 Bit. I used my old RaptorX 10k RPM 150gb HD and just reformated from the Home Premium disk.
My problem is , I was able to install Firefox no problem. All my other programs installed and worked no problem. Google Chrome has run into a problem. When i download and launch I get : Windows - Application Error The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application. Chrome is the only thing that does not work on my computer at the moment. I love it and used it on my computer since it came out, and miss it a lot. Any ideas on how to install it on my computer? Or what is causing the problem? |

Re: Google Chrome Installation Issues
Confirmed as an Endpoint-related bug; installation has failed on every
machine that I've tried which has EndPoint installed, and succeeded as soon as I tried a non-EP machine. Well done on the quick diagnosis, guys! Hopefully a patch will be forthcoming soonish - as Johnny said, in an office environment I don't really have any control on what virus software I have installed! |
