Bug in Google Search Results

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help fix my problem. I have read through a number of similar threads but can not see one that is the same as mine.

When trying to search for something in google, a number of items are listed, however majority of the results have been tainted with. The title will have the description of what I originally searched for and the description outlining similar, however the website address below does not correlate and if I click onto the site, it goes to a completely unrelated site.

This only happens on my laptop and not any of my other two computers. I have carried out a full virus check and a negative result was returned.

I have downloaded Chrome and also Firefox to see if that makes a change, and the issue is still there.

Hoping someone can assist me please.

Many thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to TSF!!

I would recommend that you run all of your scans. If you have questions about different scans you can have a look at this: PC Safety and Security--What Do I Need?

Cheers!

I think you're going to need something more hard-core than ATF scanners to evict this one.

NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

Please read and follow all instructions. Some of these tools are very powerful, and can render your computer useless if applied incorrectly. [Ask me how I know ;)].

Good luck.
