CCleaner and Browser Formatting
I recently used CCleaner to remove parts of a program I uninstalled manually (via instructions on another site). Perhaps it wasn't the wisest of ideas, but it's too late now and system restore doesn't seem to fix the problem.
Most of the websites I visit seem look as they usually do, but a couple, like wikipedia, yahoo answers, youtube, and gmail, are not formatting correctly. Most of these websites load correctly, so I can access their content, but it's pretty annoying (except for gmail. It doesn't load at first and I have to revert to basic HTML view in order to get into my account). I'm usually use google chrome, the problem is the same no matter what browser I use. I would appreciate any help. |

Re: CCleaner and Browser Formatting
Hi,
Have you tried to do an re-install of your browser, or tried to view the pages that are causing you problems in a different browser like Firefox or IE? That would be a place to start. Also, I don't recommend using CCleaner. It is a very powerful program that can cause huge problems as you have seen. Anything that say that it will clean your registry is a program to stay away from. Cheers!
