Google search bar disappeared in Opera

Yes yes indeed! I use Opera 9.63 and noticed suddenly today the Google toolbar wouldn't work at all. I removed it from the *search engines* thinking I could uninstall it totally and download & install it again.
Well, to my great joy, I downloaded it alright, but no way can I get that thing back into Opera. Any ideas as to how I can do this before having a total nervous breakdown?

Ok,
Here's what to do.
1) Open Up Opera.
2) Go to speed dial
3) Go to view
4) Go To toolbars
5) Hit custmize
6) Go to toolbars tab
7) Click the search box
8) Hit ok
9) Tell me if it works =]

Ok --- thanks for the reply. Although I've overcome that problem a ways back, your instructions are ok till you get to the "toolbars tab" --- for in this, there is no "search box" in the latest version of Opera.

Come back to me on this and clarify if you would. I'd appreciate your instructions as if this problem should ever occur again. Thanks!

Try getting Opera up to date. Go on there site and re-install it

I've the latest Opera Coo Coo Ca Choo --- therefore an outdated Opera is not the problem.

Hm. Well when i Mean toolbar tab it's in the box that opens when you hit costumize. And when you get there there should be options. Hold up ill take a snap shot and repost it.

By the way this is the INTERNET exploer forum. I hope i fixed you'r problem but next time try OTHER Browser's beacuse more people will probly have you'r anwser.

i just click on the top toolbar and choose customize
then on the buttons tab click on search on the left
then drag goole up onto the bar i have 3 of them
i am also running opera alpha 10
