Crazy Browser script errors

I have been using Crazy browser for years, and love it. Lately having problems though with multi script errors on alot of sites. Even though in Internet options, advanced, browsing, I have, display a notification about every script error turned off. So I don't get it
What I've tried, downloaded newest version and that seemed worse, so went back to version 2 0 1 which does seem better though its still not good.
Why has this suddenly happened ? and is anyone else having similar problems ?
Just tried Google Chrome, didn't like it, Hated opera and don't like firefox to much.
Any helpfull suggestions would be great

Hi,

I am not familiar with Crazy browser. Could you send me a link to where I could find out some info on it. Then I would be more than willing to help you out.

Cheers!

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

merc51 I'm with you, almost every time it's the error in you pic 2175.

Crazy Browsers is driving me Crazy, both versions 2 & 3.
I've clicked, checked, loaded, unloaded, reset, rebooted, cussed and kicked and can't get anywhere.

It seem to me it started about the time when Google shoved there new home page layout down my throat 2 or 3 weeks ago, but that another topic and probably unrelated.

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Hi,

Welcome to TSF!! bigbob99999999! I have just a couple of questions. Now that the homepage is back up, I was able to take a look at the browser, and it looks like to me that it is just an IE browser with a skin, would I be correct? Also, I am wondering if all of your scans are up-to-date? This can be the cause of browsers getting errors. Start there and see what it gets you.

Cheers!

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Hi, is your browser all up-to-date with the latest updates? This can cause problems too. Also, are you able to reach the home page for the page that is giving you errors? http://www.tmcent.com This will give us a point of reference. Or try to reach any page that doesn't give you an error, so we can get a point of reference.

Cheers!

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

I have stumbled onto a workaround/fix.

Try this, Click on the Options and un-check the Content Filter.

Could it be that simple?

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Howdy,
I've got the same problem and unchecking "Content Filter" didn't change it. The only clue I have is that I did a lot of security updates before the problem started, but I doubt that's it. I I get the Microsoft Updates, but I don't remember if any came in around the time this started. Crazy Browser uses the IE engine, but I like it a lot better.

To reproduce the problem just use Crazy Browser to load this page!

Fix for Crazy Browser script errors

Howdy,
I just realized there is a Crazy Browser 2.0.1.0 "Options" menu choice to "Suppress Script Errors".

That seems to be all it took to fix the problem. No problems now.

I must have had that option selected and somehow it got un-selected without me noticing it.

I'm amazed it was that simple.

Please post here if that doesn't fix it for you.

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Howdy,

Sorry, false alarm: There're back.

I closed that Crazy Browser and started another instance and the script errors are back. Still don't know why.

Rats. Foiled again.

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Update........

"un-check the Content Filter"

It didn't fix All the errors but I would say it cut them down by over half.

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

Hi folks,

Since I really have hit a dead end on this one I would recommend that you straight to the source. See if you can email someone from the Crazy-browser Dev. team, and have them continue helping you.

Cheers!

Re: Crazy Browser script errors

I have been experiencing the same problem with Crazy Browser and it has now been cured!

The two significant actions that I took before it fixed itself were (1) I brought all of my windows updates fully up to date and (2) I installed IE 8 Beta. I don't know if (1) alone fixed the problem so you might want to try that first.
