Search engine problem
I picked up some nasty garbage from BearShare. I've gotten rid of a bunch of spyware, but there's still something hanging in.
It keeps me from getting access to yahoo, hotmail, aol, download.com, and other similar boards as this one..its like it knows what sites to block to prevent accessing the anti-dote. I've read parts of this forum (and others) and seen program recommendations to download, but I am unable to get to those sites. BTW, I'm using my dad's laptop to see this board and post...my computer cannot access this site. I'm using both IE7 and firefox with similar frustrating results. I thank those in advance who can fix me up without having to wipe my harddrive clean and start over (which I will do if i must). David aka bigirv UPDATE: I installed opera as a browser..same result. Re: Search engine problem
I would recommend that you download spybot S&D if you haven't already. Also, I would recommend that you take a look at spyware doctor. Run atleast spybot, and then see what happens.
Cheers!
