[SOLVED] Internet Browser VERY SLOW (all of them)
I use Opera as an Internet browser. lately I been experienced very slow browsing, too slow almost none of the pages can be open. I am using Windows XP SP2, 1.25G ram. I thought it was opera, but then I use IE and even Opera and they all are very very slow I get frustrated
 . I can receive mail with my normal speed and even share files or use the messenger without any speed problems its only in the Internet browser. Sometimes I have to reset my computer to have my normal speed in the Internet browser, sometimes, that even doesn't work. AVG 8.0 and doesnt detect anything.  |

Try doing a general clean of your system's temp files using CCleaner:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ Then run Chkdsk, followed by a disk defrag. Could also be spyware etc causing slowdowns for your browser(s).. Try following the steps on this page to remove them.. IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help Do you use SpybotSD? |

AVG is an antivirus program only and will not detect Spyware/adware.
I recommend you do a full system scan with SpybotSD and Lavasoft Adaware 2007. Have you tried CCleaner yet? |

I'm running spybot and so far i was looking at some files there and I found "zedo" and some other files. this AVG 8.0 is the latest version it has more features like Anti rootkit and anti spyware I havent tried with CCleaner but I'll do it after spybot finish scanning

there were 5 files infected but now they're fixed, opera seems to be working good now, thanks for the help monkeymonkey
