need security settings for the browser.. plz hlp urgent..

hi brotherss. i m having a pronblem with my browser.. indeed wen i m trying to dwnload sm files from the internet and as i kliks on the dwnload link nothing happens...
and if i right klik on the link and seletc save target as , then explorer says that ur current security settings do not allow the file to be dwnload... i hav set the security setting to low and even hav turned of the windows firewall... while other files r being downloaded..
plz hlp me that what shud i do// thanx

1. you did not tell what browser you are using. If firefox or msie you are in the wrong forum
2. is the computer yours and are you the admin.
3. what operating system
4. what firewall?
5. are you on a network?
6. you need to be careful about your spelling, it makes it difficult to read your message.

I'm guessing you mean your user security settings on the PC. Check your user status.
