[SOLVED] Mozilla Thunderbird help

Here's the thing, Thunderbird won't let me send emails to any of my family. I type the message and get the message An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:Relay denied. Server requires authentication. Please check the message recipients and try again. I am trying to get an email to my sister and it won't let me and I have also tried with all of my family and the same message appears. I can however, send an email to myself. Any ideas?

Re: Mozilla Thunderbird help

Hold that thought, I just got it fixed. I went to account settings and went to outgoing SMTP under Local Folders and clicked the edit button where it has my outgoing server, I forgot to check the security and authentication box and enter my username. When I did that it asked for my password and tada!!!! I can't believe I forgot to do that, DUH!!!!
