Firefox vs Opera

Could anyone tell me the differences between these two browers?

Also are there any better I should try?

Re: Firefox vs Opera

I use both as I cannot decide which I like better! Opera is indeed faster and has speed dial, which is neat but Firefox has more addons, including ftp which I use alot. I would advise having both and use whichever one fits your mood!

Re: Firefox vs Opera

I use FF right now and I am pretty satisfied with it but there are times when a site won't open up and I have to open it with IE (which for no good reason I am anti IE).

Would I run in to the same problem using Opera?

Re: Firefox vs Opera

some banking sites also will only allow access through ie

Re: Firefox vs Opera

Thanks for the advise. I think I'll give Opera a try and see which one I like better and stick with that one.

Near the bottom under Web Development just drag and drop on the Toolbar
"Open Page in IE"
I've also got "Open Page in Firefox"

Re: Firefox vs Opera

Well, i like opera cuz it's very open-ended, allowing for countless numbers of customizations to the toolbar. with frequently used sites, i simply drag the logo to the toolbar to allow quicker access. the trash can feature is very nice too. however, i like firefox's spell check feature, and its many add-ons.

Re: Firefox vs Opera

I use both, but feel that Opera is best for me. I think it is faster and you can customize it quite easily. Therefore, Opera would be my recommendation.
