Netscape 8.1 https type issue

I am finding problem when i login to the application using Netscape Browser 8.1 with IE engine as selected(this is done by selecting Display like Internet Explorer), After logged in successfully, when i try to access a link which will open in another child window with https type of protocol the system is logged out automatically after several attempts, but other links with http type requests will works fine. If we test same process using Mozilla engine, https and http types are supported and child window will loads/render the page without any issue. I am using Windows XP as OS.
Can we fix this issue or is it a Netscape 8.1 browser issue with Internet Explorer engine.
Please review this and comment on our observation.

One question: Does it also happen with Opera and are you using IE 6 or IE 7? There are some ideas as to how to make IE7 run better, though don't know the address but found them in Google.
