Good time of the day to all!
![]() I have a little problem that I would like to receive help with. For the past weeks I have been receiving more and more mails, that I was not the recipient to or that the email somewhat matched to mine, but was not mine, for example squirrel@ or zquirell@ , but not zquirrel@. I would like to change settings so that I receive only mails that are addressed directly to my mail address. The filters that I have now are not really functioning. ![]() Thank you in advance. Regards, Zquirrel.

Re: Huge filter prob
Which email client are you using? (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc)
Have you set a filter to allow only those addressed to you, and to delete the rest?

Re: Huge filter prob
This problem I have only on yahoo.com and mail.ru
On mail.ru I can only put the mail addresses in "Black list" from stopping them to contact me again. But I don't know how to make it the other way around: to stop the mails coming to erroneous recipients. On yahoo...actually the recipient email is mine, but I have never subscribed to the mails with the same content that I am receiving. Here I think that it would be wise to make my email invisible. How do you do that, if this is possible? Regards, Zquirrel. |

Why not try accessing emails through a program on your desktop? (Outlook or Thunderbird) You'll be able to filter the nefarious emails out better that way. You can delete browser cookies and try to manage the cookies (allow/disallow from sites)- as there are JS cookies which can retrieve all your Clipboard data (the information at any time that you have copied) and if it contains personal details, then someone else will capture them with ease, such as an email. Also don't give your email away online on any place aswell (unless registering of course). |
