Strange AOL problems
Up until a few days ago, AOL was working fine. When I tried to connect to AOL the other day, I got the message that is was unable to connect. I have a cable modem connection. Other websites were working correctly, so I wasn't sure what was going on. I tried connecting via AIM, but I get a "can't connect to server" error message.
I've tried restarting my computer and tried again later several times with the same results. So, I tried to check my mail through the web, I can get to www.aol.com no problem, but when I click on mail (webmail.aol.com) I get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error message after a considerable loading time. So I tried to get on AIM Express, but the same thing happens, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." So I tried to get some help, help.aol.com, but the same thing happens. All non-aol websites seem to be working fine, I tried using computers at the college at workplace and they have no problems with AIM and AIM express, just my home computer. I also tried calling tech support, but they wouldn't help me because I have one of their free accounts. Any help would be appreciated. |
